Grace Kleinsteuber

It is with great sadness that the family of Grace Arlene Lenfest Kleinsteuber announces her passing Monday, May 6, 2019, at the age of 88 years. She was born July 17, 1930.

Grace will be lovingly remembered by daughter Lee, son Carl (Leanne), grandchildren Grace, Sam, David and Tom, as well as her extended and blended family. Grace was predeceased by husband Charles Joseph Kleinsteuber in 2003.

Grace grew up in the loving home of her aunts and uncle in Camden, which she always referred to as home. She studied harp with Carlos Salzedo and Lucy Lewis and graduated from Oberlin College in 1952. She met Charles in Camden when he came to study harp with Salzedo. They married June 16, 1956.

Harpist, wife, mother, grandma, avid reader, player of card games, provider of ice cream sandwiches, library volunteer, organizer of lunch gatherings, member of book clubs in Maine and Texas, and a loving Coffee Group in Denton. She and Charles were faithful volunteers at the Rockport Public Library, where Grace served for 25 years.

A celebration of Grace’s remarkable life is planned for late summer. Those who so desire may make donations in memory of Grace to the library of their choice.
