Good Tern raises money for The Landing Place

Rockland — Customers of the Good Tern Co-op raised $1,300.58 for The Landing Place during its August Round It Up Campaign. Each month the Good Tern chooses a local nonprofit to support. The Landing Place offers a place for homeless youth to come and get help with education, as well as transportation, job-skills training, financial literacy and life-skills learning.

For October, theco-op will be raising money for the Knox County Health Clinic. It is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
