‘Godspell JR’ for Warren Day

Jun 14, 2018

Warren — The Youth Musical Theater Project ministry will present “Godspell JR” Saturday and Sunday, June 23 and 24, at 3 p.m. at the Second Congregational Church, 252 Main St. The opening performance takes place during the annual Warren Day celebration.

The production is directed by Amber Hagin. “Godspell JR’ is the young performers’ edition of John-Michael Tebelak and Stephen Schwartz's groundbreaking musical theater reflection on the life of Jesus, spreading the message of love and tolerance.

Admission is free, with donations appreciated to benefit the Youth Musical Theater Project. The family-friendly show runs a bit over an hour. The production is made possible in part by a grant from the John Richard Endowment of the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches Congregational Foundation and through support from generous church and community members.
