Girls Who Code program starts Oct. 17

Sep 25, 2019

Camden — The Camden Public Library will start another session of Girls Who Code Thursday, Oct. 17, at 4 p.m. The program will meet Thursdays through April and is open to motivated girls interested in computer science.

Girls Who Code is a national non-profit working to close the gender gap in technology. Each year, participants learn various coding techniques and create a group project that they present in the spring. The program is for students between grades six and 12 and applications can be found online at librarycamden.org or stop by the Camden Public Library.

This is a free program and laptops are provided for meetings. For more information, contact Loraine at LMurray@librarycamden.org, or call the library at 236-3440.
