Gibbs to feature 'Animal Alchemy' through Labor Day

Jul 05, 2019
Artwork by: Linda Shepard "Hop on Pop," fabric, is part of the exhibit "Animal Alchemy" at the Gibbs Library.

Washington — The Gibbs Library, 40 Old Union Road, Washington, will feature the work of Union therapist Linda Shepard from Thursday, July 11, through Tuesday, Sept. 3. Shepard's work is a fabric exhibit.

Shepard presents a collection of interpretive and colorful creatures on fabric created with the intent to celebrate the ordinary, sometimes with humor, whimsy, reverence, or with an eye toward the dream world. Her hope is to create a textural and visual pleasure.

The show is entitled “Animal Alchemy.”
