Waldoboro — Ernie and Jason Couch from Nashville, Tenn., will return to the Midcoast to share their country gospel music as part of a six-concert week in Maine. The local Ernie Couch and Revival appearance will be Wednesday, Aug. 22, at 7 p.m. at Waldoboro Word of Life Church, 41 Old Route 1 (just off Main Street on Cole’s Hill).

This Nashville-based, Grammy-nominated father and son duo present a high-energy mixture of classic and cutting edge gospel music. Known across the United States and Canada for their live music, good humor and genuine spirit, Ernie and Jason have been working together on the road for more than 25 years. Their music has charted 10 singles in the United States and Europe. They have recorded with such musical greats as George Beverly Shea, Jake Hess, George Jones, Boots Randolph, Patti Page, Danny and the Juniors, and Petra, just to name a few.

EC&R offers high energy, emotionally colorful music reflective of the diverse musical heritage that has made Music City internationally famous. The group’s blend of traditional, country, and contemporary gospel music speaks to people of all ages and all walks of life.
