Free and open to public- Coastal Regional Reentry Center’s R.A.W. Theater Group to perform at UMaine Hutchinson Center May 19

Belfast, Maine Coastal Regional Reentry Center’s Restorative Art Works (R.A.W.) Theater Group will present a free performance followed by a community discussion on Saturday, May 19 from 3:30–6:30 p.m. at the University of Maine Hutchinson Center.

R.A.W. is a performance and writing group that creates original theater adopted from true stories of conflict, resolution, hope, incarceration, addiction and freedom. The group consists of volunteers, families, allies

and men returning to communities from the Maine Coastal Regional Reentry Center. The goal of the group’s performance is to alter individual and societal perspectives and actions.

Larraine Brown, Director of the Belfast Creative Coalition, manages the group.
