Rockport — Year two of Down East Food Truck Fridays raised more than $1,800 for Knox County Homeless Coalition.

Each Friday during July and August, food trucks from the region and the state headed to the Down East Magazine property in Rockport for a family-friendly foodie event that offered live music, treats & beverages, lawn games, a photo booth, and Maine-made gifts from a variety of craftspeople from around the state.

Kathleen Fleury, editor in chief at Down East said the event has grown in popularity year after year and the company loves opening up their location to readers near and far for this community-building event.
