First National Bank Donates to Local Food Pantries

ROCKLAND, ME – First National Bank recently announced that it has made donations totaling $15,000 to twenty-one food banks in bank’s market area. “First National Bank is grateful for the critical services that our food banks provide to our neighbors in need,” remarked Tony C. McKim, President and CEO. “As a Maine community bank, it is our goal to respond to the needs of these vital organizations that serve and help these families put food on the table.”

Area Interfaith Outreach (AIO) Food Pantry, located at 70 Thomaston Street in Rockland, was a recipient of these funds. The pantry was established in 1990, and serves over 12,000 individuals in Knox County each year. They are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30am to 12pm and everyone is welcome.
