Financial planning is next topic in church series on aging

Rockland — St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 11 White St., Rockland, offers a free program on financial planning as the next in its series "Spirituality for the Second Half of Life" Jan. 16 at 4 p.m. The presenter will be Sarah Ruef-Lindquist, attorney and certified trust and financial planner.

As a lawyer, Ruef-Lindquist has worked with nonprofit organizations to build fiscal efficiency, planned giving programs and endowments. She has worked with individuals and families as a philanthropic adviser and estate planner, with special attention to women’s planning needs.

She is employed at Allen Insurance and Financial in Camden and holds the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor certification and FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations through Commonwealth Financial Network. Ruef-Lindquist serves on the board of Rockland Savings Bank, Unity College and the Maine Planned Giving Council.
