Final AIR First Friday, auction

Rockland — The participating galleries of Arts in Rockland will host the year’s final First Friday art walk and a silent auction Friday, Dec. 7 from 5 to 8 p.m.

Local artists, galleries and businesses have donated items for a silent auction to benefit AIR and Rockland Main Street. The auction will kick off during the art walk at Yvette Torres Fine Art, 21 Winter St., and will continue through Friday, Dec. 14. Artists who contribute to the auction have the option to receive a 50-percent commission on auction sales with the remainder of proceeds going to support Arts in Rockland and Rockland Main Street.

Auction items will be on view and available for bidding at Yvette Torres Fine Art during the First Friday art walk; Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 8 and 9 from noon to 4 p.m. The gallery will reopen for bidding Tuesday through Friday, Dec. 11 through 14 from noon to 4 p.m. An auction preview and online bidding is available at and will be updated as donations are received.

All bidding will close Friday, Dec. 14 at 4 p.m. Winning bidders will be notified that evening and can pick up their items at Yvette Torres Fine Art Saturday, Dec. 15 between noon and 4 p.m.
