Fairy Garden Workshop by Liza Walsh Aug 15th

Hoboken Gardens is pleased to present a Fairy Garden Workshop with local author, Liza Gardner Walsh. The workshop will be held on August 15 from 10:00 am until 11:30 am. Participants will make their own miniature fairy garden in a take-home container and learn what it takes to create fairy hideaways and garden oases in their own backyards. All materials will be provided. Liza will also be available to sign copies of her book, Fairy House Handbook. The program costs $12.00 per child and advance registration is required. Reservations can be made by calling Hoboken Gardens at 236-3023 or emailing askus@hobokengardens.com.


Liza Gardner Walsh is the author of The Fairy House Handbook published by Downeast and is working on a fairy garden book which is due out next spring. She is a children’s librarian in Rockport. She has been a high school English teacher, writing tutor, museum educator and holds an M.F.A. in writing from Vermont College. Through it all, she has made tiny houses for mice, fairies, trolls, snails, and other little creatures. She lives with her family in Camden, Maine.
