Experts to speak on living with chronic heart disease

Camden — Going Strong, Quarry Hill’s educational program series devoted to senior health topics, continues with a session on chronic heart disease on Monday, Nov. 19, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Anderson Inn at Quarry Hill in Camden.

Presenters Dr. Ralph Hamill of Maine Cardiology Associates and registered nurse Sheila Curry, manager of the cardiac rehabilitation program at Pen Bay Medical Center, will discuss risk factors, treatments, and preventative measures specific to congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation, angina and other common forms of heart disease. Also featured will be tips on living a full life post-diagnosis.
