Expand Your Math Skills this Summer

By The Study Hall | May 20, 2020

With remote schooling winding down, it is time to think ahead to the fall. The best way to prepare for a new school year is to show up in September ready to hit the ground running.  Student who prepare for their new courses over the summer have an easier transition because they understand and can recall all that they learned the year before.  How can you help your student achieve that level of readiness?

Summer is a great time to unwind and relax, yet it is a terrible time to let all your hard work from the prior school year slip away.  With just a little effort, a few review sessions, and some focused attention your student can be ready in September for a whole new year.  What a difference it would make for your student to walk into class the first day feeling confident and eager to add the next steps to what s/he already has a strong command of.  That is quite different from walking in with only a vague recollection of what s/he was supposed to know and be able to use.

The Study Hall can make the difference for your student.  We are offering many different levels of review and preparation for all of the math transitions—

Elementary School

Middle School

Algebra I

Algebra II

Our certified math teachers will focus on the skills that will help make your student successful: content, organization, study skills, note taking and time management. All of our sessions will be held online through September. Students typically meet 1-2 hours a week with a tutor one-on-one.
