Encouragement coach offers virtual talk through library Aug. 13

Jul 29, 2020
Kathrin Gabriel-Jones will host the encouragement virtual talk Aug. 13

Rockland Public Library will host Encouragement Coach Kathrin-Gabriel Jones for a virtual talk titled “What Does It Mean to Be ‘OK’?”

The presentation will take place via the Zoom platform Thursday, Aug. 13, at 6:30 p.m.

As Jones will discuss, many are experiencing a difficult and unsettling time. With so much going on, sometimes it can seem easier to answer the question, "how are you?", with “I’m okay” and just keep going.

Kathrin Gabriel-Jones has 30 years of experience in education, ranging from physicians to preschool, teaching subjects that extend from medical compliance to playing well with others.

Jones combines metaphor and imagery from pop culture, myth, urban legends, history and world literature with humor to ignite each person's engagement in their own unique quest for hope and fulfillment.

To request the link to attend via Zoom, email sbillings@rocklandmaine.gov by 4 p.m. on the day of the event.
