Drawing Workshop at the Lighthouse Museum
Shells and Sharpies

On July 13th Saturday, at 2:00 p.m. an all ages drawing workshop will be held at the Maine Lighthouse Museum, One Park Drive in Rockland.

Pam Bardon, a local artist whose commercial work includes fine line work on shells, will give a brief tutorial on the various techniques and possibilities of line drawing. Line is more than a vehicle for visual information, it can take on emotional and spiritual qualities when harnessed with focused observation.

The workshop participants will be given Maine Scallop shells to work on, along with permanent fine line markers. Each participant is asked to bring with them a photograph [ preferably black and white] to use as source material. No drawing experience is required, and folks attending can take their shells home with them.

The cost for the hour long workshop is $10.00 and pre-registration is suggested but not required. For more info call 207 594-3301, Like Us on Facebook and/or see our website at mainelighthousemuseum.org
