Rockland — Arts of all kinds are practiced at The Art Loft, 385 Main St., Suite 9 (lobby level of Thorndike building), in December.

On Saturday, Dec. 2, from 1 to 4 p.m., Tanya Harsch will offer another of her Clothed Figure Drawing workshops at the nonprofit arts center. All levels are welcome, all materials provided and model fee included in the $45 price.

Paint Night expands into a special event Friday, Dec. 8, when Justin Kinney leads a three-hour “Lakeside” session from 6 to 9 p.m. In addition to a paint night’s usual guided art making mixed with socializing, participants will learn about color mixing and blending. Snacks will be served; feel free to bring your own snacks and/or beverage, wine or beer is fine. Cost is $35.

On Saturday, Dec. 8, Nanfei Wang will lead a 1 to 4:30 p.m. workshop in Chinese painting and traditional tea ceremony. The painting will focus on Morning Glory flowers. Also during the class, participants will taste three kinds of Chinese tea and enjoy a traditional Chinese tea ceremony to better understand the complementary relationship between traditional Chinese painting and the Chinese tea culture. Cost is $35.
