Don Reimer gives slide talk on Weskeag Marsh Jan. 18

Don Reimer will present a photographic tour of Weskeag Marsh at Camden Public Library.

Photographer and columnist Don Reimer will offer a colorful photographic tour of Weskeag Marsh’s varied habitats and rich assortment of bird and animal life at the Camden Public Library, at 55 Main Street, on Thursday, Jan. 18, at 7 p.m.

After a decade of volunteering with the annual International Shorebird Surveys, Reimer will describe the Weskeag’s vital role in seasonal shorebird migration and the fostering conservation work of Georges River Land Trust’s "Bridging Two Rivers" project.

The slide show is co-hosted by the library and the Midcoast Audubon Society. Don Reimer is a noted bird photographer and Audubon board member as well as an avid birder.
