Dinner, auction to benefit Malawi library project Feb. 13

Jan 30, 2019

Waldoboro — The Medomak Valley High School community has been working together with Go! Malawi, an organization founded in 2006 by Medomak Valley High School alum Janet Littlefield to make positive change. Leading the Go! Malawi Library Project, a collaborative effort within the high school, is junior Sadie Cohen. Cohen hopes to make a difference in students’ education in Malawi by fundraising to build a library in Mpamila Village to help the youth realize their dreams.

A spaghetti dinner and silent auction will be held Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria at Medomak Valley. Admission is $10. The auction will include items from local businesses and also Malawian artwork.

All proceeds will go directly to the Go! Malawi Library Project.
