Rockland — Darlingside band member David Senft will be a special guest on “Jo and Cheech’s Radio Hour” Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 8 p.m. on WRFR-LP 93.3 FM, Rockland; and 99.3 FM, Camden.

Darlingside is a Massachusetts-based indie folk quartet who describe their music as tightly-arranged tunes drawn from the unexpected, featuring strains of bluegrass, classical and barbershop. All the members sing in harmony and play a variety of instruments including guitar, mandolin and percussion.

During the interview, Senft will discuss the band’s new sound, as well as its upcoming Midwest tour. Darlingside will be performing in the Hollerfest concert Friday night, Nov. 2, at the Strand Theatre, along with Maine bands Toughcats and The Ghost of Paul Revere.
