This Friday night, April 26, eight midcoast celebrities will take the stage of the Strom Auditorium to show off their best dance moves in support of The Community Schools at Opportunity Farm and Camden and the 5th annual Dancing with Local Stars.

This year’s star lineup includes Rockland City Mayor Will Clayton, Rockland Fire Chief Charlie Jordan, PenBay Pilot Directing Editor Lynda Clancy, Camden Public Library Children’s Librarian Amy Hand, Camden Hills Regional High School Assistant Principal Piet Lammert, Midcoast Music Together Director Jess Day, Taylor-Made Builders Senior Project Manager Norm Dalholt and Graphic Designer Anneli Skaar of Skaar Design.

The stars will be joined by local dance groups and dance studios, including Swing & Sway Dancing, Kinetic Energy Alive, Nathifa Shakti and Bellyton, Atlantic Ballet Company, Rockport Dance Conservatory, Korinnn's Dance and Triple Threat Theater, along with The Community Schools' own students and a group of eight "All-Stars" from past year's events.

Together they'll bring a unique mix of ballet, contemporary, tap, bellydance, Zumba, Cha-cha, Foxtrot, Tango, Salsa, Swing, Samba, Hustle and Hip-Hop to the stage, making this a night to remember!

Catch all the action Friday, April 26 at The Strom Auditorium in Rockport and be sure to head over to Graffam Brothers Harborside Restaurant immediately following the show for this year's after-party, including appetizers, cash bar and, of course, dancing!
