Craig MacMunn

Washington — Craig D. MacMunn, age 39, died unexpectedly Monday, Oct. 2, 2017, at Maine Medical Center, Portland. He was born in Rockport, Jan. 29, 1978, a son of Alan D. and Jeanette (Jones) MacMunn.

Mr. MacMunn was a graduate of Medomak Valley High School and the University of Maine at Orono where he earned his bachelors degree in business.

He had been employed by Kaplan University for 12 years, serving as director of admissions in St. Louis, Mo.

Craig loved being in the outdoors fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed baseball and football as well as fantasy football. The Red Sox and Patriots were who he watched most. Winter months were spent playing video games.

He was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity out of the University of Maine in Orono and kept in touch with many of his “brothers.”

Mr. MacMunn is survived by his parents, Alan D. and Jeanette (Jones) MacMunn of Washington; his brother, Christopher A. MacMunn and his wife Jennifer of Jensen Beach, Fla., and his paternal grandmother, Rita MacMunn.

Relatives and friends may visit on Monday, Oct. 9, from 10 a.m. to noon at Plummer Funeral Home, Windsor Chapel, 983 Ridge Road (Route 32), Windsor where a funeral service will be held at noon. Following cremation, burial will be at the convenience of the family.

A wonderful, sweet, funny guy.  So many memories include Stu from college.  Rest in peace Stu.
