Courthouse to resume regular hours

May 31, 2020

Rockland — The Knox County Courthouse including county offices will reopen Monday, June 1, for regular hours.

The county building will be open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Anyone entering the building will be required to wear a mask and stay 6 feet apart to maintain social distancing. People entering will be asked a series of questions related to COVID-19 to determine whether they have been exposed to the virus.

Plexiglass was installed at each of the county and state offices.

The court was operating since mid-March on a limited schedule to slow the spread of the virus but will be open each weekday beginning Monday. The types of cases are still limited.
