The Secret Sisters

Rockland — Americana duo The Secret Sisters will return to the Strand stage with their distinctive blend of country and folk Friday, May 18, at 7:30 p.m. Real-life sisters Lydia and Laura Rogers combine effortless harmonies with a shared love of country music's rich history.

The Secret Sisters’ music reflects the sounds of the South and the powerful timeless music emanating from their home near Muscle Shoals, Ala. Influenced by a range of uniquely American musical styles including country, bluegrass and gospel, classic rock and pop, they have released two critically acclaimed albums produced by T. Bone Burnett; and, in 2017, “You Don’t Own Me Anymore,” produced with longtime friend and mentor Brandi Carlile at the helm. This third studio album received a Grammy nomination for Best Folk Album of the Year.
