Rabies clinic in Appleton

APPLETON — The Appleton Fire Department is sponsoring a rabies clinic at the fire station Saturday, Jan. 12, 1 to 3 p.m. There is a $12 donation per shot to the Appleton Fire Department. All dogs must be leashed, and cats need to be in some type of cat carrier.

Please bring proof of previous rabies shots. Appleton residents may also license their dogs at the event. For more information, contact the Appleton Town Office at 785-4722.


Benefit baked bean supper, silent auction

APPLETON — There will be a benefit baked bean supper and silent auction on Saturday, Jan. 19, 4 to 6 p.m. at Appleton Village School. The proceeds from the event benefit Dale Taylor.

Baked beans, casseroles, salads, breads, desserts and drinks. The cost is $8 adults, $3 children, and children under 5 years old are free.
