Hack Your Grocery List

Sticking to a grocery budget is a great place to start achieving financial goals this year. Thursday, Jan. 14 from noon to 12:30 p.m., participants should bring a grocery list and an enthusiasm for couponing to this lunchtime webinar to learn how to hack their next trip to the grocery store. They will learn how to apply the MyPlate concept to the grocery cart, in-store tips for saving money, and things to know before they go to the store.

Naloxone Training

Naloxone is a life-saving medication that is used to counter the effects of drugs like heroin and prescription narcotics. Join providers from Pen Bay Medical Center, Tuesday, Jan. 26, from noon to 1 p.m., to learn how to use naloxone to save the life of anyone who is experiencing an opioid overdose.

Free Advance Care Planning Workshop

Advance care planning is an organized process of reflecting upon and discussing goals for future health care decisions. Join trained advance care planning facilitator Vikki Swan. Tuesday, Jan. 12, from 1 to 2 p.m., for this virtual workshop. Participants will begin the process of filling out an advance directive, which is a written a plan that represents individual preferences and tells others what medical care participants want or do not want to receive if they become too ill in the future to tell them.
