Craft Show and Bake Sale Nov. 23

The United Methodist Church, located at 98 John Street, Camden, will be holding a craft sale and lunch from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be many tables displaying the works of local artists, quilted items, dioramas, jewelry, knitwear, home decor and much more. A soup lunch will be available, thanks to the cooks of the church.

Browntail Moth discussion Dec. 12

The Camden Public Library will host “Browntail Moth 101,” Thursday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. Presenter Tom Schmeelk is an entomologist with the Department of Agriculture, Conservation, and Forestry’s Maine Forest Service Insect & Disease Lab. His informational talk includes an overview of the moth’s biology, history in Maine and updates on current Browntail range/areas at risk.

Climate Grief forum Dec. 1

Camden Whole Health, 91 Elm St., will host a forum on Climate Grief, Sunday, Dec. 1, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The forum is intended to provide an opportunity for participants to explore their feelings about the climate crisis, learn strategies to cope with sometimes overwhelming emotions and build resilience and community to combat the crisis.
