Camden Rotary Club to hold annual blueberry pancake breakfast

The Camden Rotary Club will hold its annual Blueberry Pancake Breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Saturday Aug. 31, at the Camden Public Landing. This event, part of the Camden Windjammer Festival, is a longtime tradition of the club. Money raised from this “all you can eat” breakfast will support non-profit organizations in Knox County and Lincolnville.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. The menu includes Maine blueberry pancakes, sausage, juice, coffee and milk. For more information visit the club’s website at camdenrotary.org.

 

County fair-themed story time at Camden library

Camden Public Library guest reader Miss Stephanie will lead for a county fair-themed story time Saturday, Aug. 31, at 10 a.m. at the library, 55 Main St. There will be stories, crafts, carnival games and a stuffed-farm-animal show. Children are encouraged to bring their favorite stuffed farm animal toy for the show. For more information visit librarycamden.org.

 

Hope Historical Society to hold pie sale

The Hope Historical Society will hold it’s final pie sale of the year Saturday Aug. 31 from 8 a.m. to noon, at the Hope Historical Home at Hope Corner, on the North Appleton side, just beyond the Hope Corner firehouse. The pie sale has been enlarged to a craft sale, a lawn sale, and a Historical Society open house, with free tours by HHS docents. For more information, e-mail wijones or call 763-3576.
