United Methodist Church monthly supper

The United Methodist Church, 98 John St., Camden, invites the public to its monthly supper on Oct. 6, at 5:30 p.m. John Street is located on the north side of the Subway Shop.

Supper includes beans and ham, hot casseroles, salads, American chop suey, chicken and rice, sliced hotdogs in spicy sauce and pie. Serving is all-you-can-eat family style. If several folks want to sit together, one person may come early to purchase tickets for the party and hold seats at the Reserved Seating Only table. The cost is $9 for adults and $5 for children under age 13.

 

Halloween pumpkins for a cause

Lincolnville eighth grade students will be selling Halloween pumpkins (courtesy of Beth's Farm Market, in Warren) on Saturday, Oct.13. The pumpkins will be sold from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or until all pumpkins have been sold. The class will be selling their pumpkins across from the post office in Lincolnville Beach. Get a Halloween pumpkin and help the eighth graders meet their fundraising goals at the same time.

 

Mid-Coast Audubon Annual Birdseed Sale Fundraiser

Birdseed orders for the Mid-Coast Audubon Annual Birdseed Sale Fundraiser are due by Oct. 20. To order, email Seedsale Sue at sschubel@audubon.org, with the subject line “Birdseed,”  or call 380-1370.  Seeds can be picked up on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. to noon at Plants Unlimited, Route 1, in Rockport.
