New Hope for Women will cohost Community Breakfast on Saturday, March 21st from 7:00-10:00 a.m. at Café Miranda in Rockland. Breakfast includes orange juice and coffee and will be on a first come, first served basis. Fifty percent of proceeds benefit New Hope for Women, Midcoast Maine’s only domestic violence resource center serving Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Knox and Waldo Counties.

New Hope for Women supports individuals affected by domestic violence, dating violence and stalking through advocacy, education and prevention services.  Advocacy services include a 24-hour support line, transitional housing, group healing options, legal services, and a CPS liaison embedded at DHHS. Education and prevention services include age-appropriate education modules delivered to students of all ages in more than 70 schools as well as information presented at various community events throughout our catchment area. In 2019 alone, New Hope for Women provided over 5,190 hours of direct services to 1,325 clients. More than 9,525 community members and students received prevention and education services.
