Good Tern Co-op holds its first-ever Community Bash in its parking lot Oct. 20.

Rockland — The Good Tern Co-op and its Hole in the Wall Bagel Shop will host a first-ever Community Bash Saturday, Oct. 20, from noon to 3 p.m. The event celebrates National Co-op Month and an expanded, shared parking lot. Festivities taking place in the new lot at 750-754 Main St. include music, food, games and a wine tasting of fall wines. A children’s area will feature hooping, pumpkin painting and a corn hole toss. Anyone who signs up as a new Co-op member on Saturday will receive a $10 discount on the membership fee.

At the event Co-op members will be grilling tasty tidbits of (free-range, grass fed) beef, pork, turkey and chicken, curtesy of A Wee Bit Farm of Orland and Pine Tree Poultry of New Sharon. Hole in the Wall bakers will add bagel pizzas to the grill. Good Tern popcorn and Rock City Roasters’ coffee will be plentiful. Members will provide potluck desserts.

Live music will feature bands including Drive by Todd, Good Vibrations and fiddlers Emily Jeffries & Friends.

All are welcome. The interested public is invited to take advantage of October’s discount coupons to try shopping at the Co-op. For more information, call 594-8822.
