Come Spring Bus Tour rolls out July 20

Union — The Union Historical Society’s annual Come Spring Bus Tour, in conjunction with the annual Founder’s Day celebration, will depart from the Old Town House, 128 Town House Road in Union, Saturday July 20 at 2 p.m. Names of the original settlers of Union are documented in Union town records and author Ben Ames Williams recounted their lives and stories in his 1940 historical novel “Come Spring.” The tour, narrated by Alice Carroll, a descendant of settler Phillip Robbins, will include stops at five historic sites.

Tickets for the tour are $15 and may be purchased by calling Mary Thompson at 385-4611.
