Lost, Found and Looking

Come meet Fresca

Pope Memorial Humane Society of Knox County
Feb 27, 2014

Our pet picks of the week are Beanie and Fresca. Beanie is big, affectionate, love bug of a cat. He is around 3 years old cat and was brought in as a stray from Rockland. With no collar or tag on him, we were unable to reunite him with his family. Sadly, no one came looking for him. Beanie was happy to be brought in from the streets but is now ready to get back to holding down the couch in a home of his own. If you're looking for a gentle giant to snuggle with, you should meet Beanie.

Looking for someone more active? Fresca is a little fire cracker of a dog. At 2-and-a-half years old, this brindle coated mix has a lot of energy and is stronger than her small frame would suggest. She is particular about the dogs she plays with and isn't fond of cats so she would benefit from being the only pet in the home. If you’re looking for an active dog with an effervescent personality come meet Fresca.

Do you or someone you know need to get a pet "fixed"? There is room on the transport from PMHSKC to the Community Spay Neuter Clinic in Freeport Tuesday, March 18. Please contact the clinic directly at 865-0772 to book an appointment for your small dog or cat, or for more information. Help us stop the overpopulation of unwanted pets, spay or neuter your pet.

Feb. 28 is the last day to vote for PMHSKC to win $1,000 through The Bangor Savings Bank's Community Matters More program. Vote online by writing us in at bangor.com/Community-Support/Community-Matters-More.aspx A vote for us is a vote for helping homeless animals in your community. Thank you.
