College prep discussion at the Jackson Library Nov. 19

Nov 09, 2019

Tenants Harbor — Join Chris Williamson at Jackson Memorial Library Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m., as they host a college prep discussion to demystify the process of applying to colleges, investigate options, explore college affordability, and determine family priorities. The evening is ideal timing for parents of sophomores and juniors, and students are encouraged to attend. While families of seniors may be well into the process, they may still have questions or be seeking guidance. After an overview of the process, there will be plenty of time for questions and answers.

Williamson served as a college counselor for 27 years and as a secondary school placement counselor for 12 years. As Director of College Counseling at schools in New Hampshire and Ohio, he provided individual student and parent counseling, group sessions, SAT prep, and advocated for applicants with college admission offices. Over the years, he has visited over 40 colleges.

Jackson Memorial Library is located at 71 Main Street, Tenants Harbor.
