Coastal Senior College announces Midcoast courses

Rockland — Coastal Senior College is offering three Midcoast courses this spring

Former television news producer Peter Imber will present “The History of Television Sitcoms,” Mondays, from May 13 to June 3 (no class May 27), from 9:30 to noon, in the Camden Library Picker Room. Imber recently completed two years as president of the Camden Conference.

Collage artist Deborah Stevenson will teach a collage course Tuesdays, from April 9 to May 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Picker Room at the Camden Library. Stevenson has taught and exhibited in many venues and most recently was a guest artist at Shakerag Workshops in Tennessee.

Michael Werner, a retired computer science professor will teach a course in artificial intelligence Thursdays, April 25 to May 3, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., at UMA Rockland in the Breakwater Building. Werner has taught at Instituto Allende’s Life Long Learning program and at Tufts University’s Osher program.
