Co-op consultant series begins March 1

Rockland — The Good Tern Co-op Consultant Series begins again Saturday, March 1 on the first and third Saturdays of the month through May.

Co-op consultants are members of the Good Tern offering to share what they know in their field of health and wellness in an informal setting. This is a designated time to bring questions, thoughts, and interest about the days' topic.

Attendees are welcome to bring their own books on herbs or nutrition to better understand them. There will be a hands-on activity beginning at 10 a.m., followed by conversation until noon. This is a family friendly series. The children's area is open and sometimes participants will get their hands dirty making tasty treats.

The schedule is as follows:

March 1: Making Bliss Balls (a fun and healthy snack) with Tara Hire

March 19: Topic to-be-determined with Jillian Kelsey-Rose

Kelsey-Rose’s practice incorporates a strong foundation in Traditional European Herbalism and Naturopathic philosophy with the wisdom of the plant world understood through intuitive mediumship. She believes deeply that all Earthly experience is an opportunity for growth and connection, and prefers to work with people through the deeper journeys they are walking in their lives. Kelsey-Rose will be at Good Tern March15, April 19 and May 17 .

By taking a look at lifestyle, work, daily habits, food choices, the overall person, Tara Hire will help guide participants to create the life desired. Health and wellness are not just about diet and exercise, but also one's outlook on life, social interactions, interactions with oneself, and finding balance in life. Hire has a bachelor's degree in human nutrition, a master's in holistic nutrition and is a certified health coach. She has studied with renowned nutritionists including Dr. Weil and Deepak Chopra. She is a member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. She has been studying and practicing nutrition for more than 20 years. Hire will be at the co-op March 1, April 5, and May 3.
