CMCA offers ArtLab for February school vacation

Feb 07, 2020

Rockland — The Center for Maine Contemporary Art (CMCA) invites artists of all ages to take inspiration from the current exhibition, "Temporality: The Process of Time," during ArtLab Vacation Week, Feb. 17 through 20, from 2 to 4 p.m. each day.

Drop in for an afternoon or for all four workshops to explore the multi-media possibilities of "Making Time for Time." Experience time-lapse photography, site-specific wall drawing, painting and collage. Each day will present an array of open-ended and contemplative prompts to dive into creative projects. The workshops are free of charge and all materials are provided.

ArtLab Vacation Week takes place at CMCA, 21 Winter St., and is made possible through the support of Wells Fargo, The Bob Crewe Foundation, The Cricket Foundation, First National Bank, Fisher Charitable Foundation, Margaret E. Burnham Trust, Milton & Sally Avery Arts Foundation, Morton-Kelly Charitable Trust, Nellie Leaman Taft Foundation, Stephen & Tabitha King Foundation, and individual donors.
