Camden — Passes to the 2018 Camden International Film Festival are now on sale through the organization’s website, pointsnorthinstitute.org. The 14th annual Camden International Film Festival will run Sept. 13 through 16 in Camden, Rockport and Rockland.

The festival will showcase more than 100 documentary features and shorts from around the globe, many of them making their United States or North American premieres. The weekend will feature documentary films from both emerging and established filmmakers, many of whom attend their screenings. This year’s program, including films, filmmakers, high-profile industry attendees and speakers, will be announced mid-August.

CIFF’s Points North Forum offers unique opportunities for professional development and creative inspiration, for filmmakers and filmgoers alike. All Access and Screenings+Forum passholders can attend hands-on workshops, panel discussions and master classes; meet top filmmakers and industry leaders; and get a glimpse into the process of producing documentaries at the popular Points North Pitch.

In addition to enjoying world-class films, speakers and events, All Access passholders are invited to CIFF After Dark, a series of parties creatively re-imagined each year by local artists. This year, CIFF is introducing a new After Dark Pass for festivalgoers that are more interested in burning the midnight oil. Also new this year, there will be a Storyforms Day Pass.

Passes grant priority entry into screenings and events before tickets are released for sale to the general public. For 2018, there are four types of CIFF passes; early bird pricing runs through Sunday, July 15.

The All Access Pass grants admission to all festival screenings, the Points North Forum, Storyforms exhibition of VR (virtual reality) and immersive media and After Dark parties. Cost is $180 early bird price, $225 regular. The Screenings+Forum Pass grants admission to all festival screenings and all events associated with CIFF’s Points North Forum. Cost is $140 early bird price, $175 regular. The Screenings Pass grants admission to all festival screenings. Cost is $75 early bird price, $95 regular. The After Dark Pass grants admission to CIFF’s famous late-night parties on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights of the festival. Cost is $120 early bird, $150 regular.
