Celebrate the Season at Cellardoor’s WinterFest Saturday, February 5!

By Cellardoor Winery | Jan 19, 2011

Winter in Maine is all about getting out and having fun, and that’s just what we’ll be doing at Cellardoor Vineyard in Lincolnville on Saturday, February 5. Come enjoy our second annual WinterFest with us! (Please note this is the weekend after the Camden Winterfest.)

From 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., you’re welcome to join in the ice-skating, sledding, snowshoeing, and snowperson making. From 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., you can also climb aboard a horse-drawn carriage for a ride through the vineyard.

There’ll also be ice-sculpture carving, live music, and coffee, cocoa, and donuts all day. From 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., Lani Temple of Megunticook Market will be serving a delicious complimentary hot lunch. We’ll have a special Sweetheart Sangria Cocktail for you to sample, too.

We’ll be pouring complimentary tastings of Cellardoor wines until 1 p.m., and from 1 until 3 p.m., Lani will offer a variety of small food samplings to pair with the wines.

At 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., you’re invited to tour our new state-of-the-art winery facility across the road from the barn. From 1 until 3 p.m., we’ll be tapping some of the big barrels in the new winery for some samplings.

So pull on your parka and come join the fun! We look forward to seeing you at Cellardoor Vineyard, 367 Youngtown Road, Lincolnville on Saturday, February 5, from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m. For more information, call 763-4478 or visit mainewine.com.
