Camelot in Camden: The Kodak Center for Creative Imaging - Panel Discussion

Twenty years ago Kodak’s Center for Creative Imaging (CCI) opened its doors in Camden, bringing hundreds of cutting-edge digital photographers, illustrators, graphic designers and other artists to teach thousands of working professionals from around the world.

The seeds planted in the 1990’s still flourish today. Camelot in Camden, a panel discussion at 4:30pm in Union Hall Theater, reunites several artists who worked and taught at CCI during its heyday to discuss its influence on their careers and the larger creative world: renowned portraitist Greg Heisler, designer Jessica Simmons, Maine Media President, Charles Altschul, and MMW instructor Peter Koons.

Heisler, know for his many Time magazine covers, and Simmons collaborated at CCI in 1992 on the first digitally produced cover of the legendary publication, featuring Man of the Year, Ted Turner.

This event takes place at 4:00pm on August 1st in the Union Hall Theater, which is located at 2 Central Street in Rockport Village.
