Camden Whole Health offers free events

Center celebrates 10th anniversary

Camden — Camden Whole Health, a center for integrative health services, is celebrating its 10th anniversary throughout the month of October with a series of free events.

Be Strong, Be Wise Author Talk

The Center will host Amy Carpenter, Oct. 14 at 6 p.m. for a socially-distance presentation about the Be Strong, Be Wise program. A psychotherapist, former youth worker, writer, and life coach, Carpenter draws on 25 years of experience. She designed the safety education program using the methods described in her book, along with wisdom gained from her own life as a parent and survivor. For more information, go to bestrongbewise.com. The Eden Energy Medicine Daily Energy Routine

The Daily Energy Routine was created by Donna Eden and it’s a quick and easy routine (five to seven minutes) that can build the immune system, gain energy and relieve pain. This short free class, on Oct. 15 at 5 p.m., will be held in the yoga room at Camden Whole Health and will be led by Paula Apro, a certified Eden Energy Medicine Practitioner. Class is limited to 10 people to ensure safe social distancing and masks must be worn. Exercises are accessible to all. No mats or props are required. Self Massage

Antje Roitzsch will teach simple self-massage techniques that can relax and center after a busy day, Oct. 21 at 6 p.m. Afterwards, Roitzsch will play her RAV Vast drum to facilitate deeper relaxation. The class will accommodate 10 people in-person in the yoga room and additional attendees via Zoom. Email info@antjeroitzsch.com to register.

Guided Imagery Meditation

Dr. Barb MacDonald will lead ,a brief guided imagery and therapeutic breathing event intended to start the cultivation of peace and compassion, Oct. 17 at 3 p.m. Participants will learn how fire, earth, metal, water and wood represent organ systems and emotions and how to use this knowledge to relieve stress, resentments and other emotions. The class will accommodate 10 people in-person in the yoga room and additional attendees via Zoom. Bio-Well Wellness Reports

Paula Apro, certified Eden Eden Medicine practitioner and certified Bio-Well practitioner, will offer free tests and reports in the yoga room at Camden Whole Health, Oct. 22 at 3:30 p.m. The actual test only takes about 10 minutes and a the detailed report will be emailed to participants.To participate, email Apro directly at paula@mariposaenergytherapy.com
