Camden — The next Make Shift Coffee House will be held in the Picker Room at the Camden Public Library, 55 Main St., May 29, from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Craig Freshley of Good Group Decisions, founder of Make Shift Coffee House, will facilitate discussions in which participants are urged to speak from experience, to listen, to understand and to refrain from criticism while everyone gets a turn.

Make Shift Coffee Houses are held on college campuses, in grange halls, church halls, and school cafeterias, as well as in libraries. Each Make Shift Coffee House includes a full group-facilitated discussion followed by informal small group conversations.

The event is free, with refreshments and live music by The Extension Chords, three Camden Hills Regional High School student musicians.
