Camden Hills students cancel plant sale, but offer seedlings

May 04, 2020

Camden — Camden Hills Regional High School Gardening and Horticulture class will not be holding their annual plant sale this year.

However, the students have continued to grow lots of seedlings and want to offer them to the people who have kept the community going, or are looking to grow their own home garden during this unprecedented time. Distribution of plants will follow COVID-19 precautionary measures.

Student leaders from school are helping to make this happen. Using the link below, fill out the online order form and pick up plants from the high school greenhouse in Rockport during the week of May 23 to 29.  In order to complete the online ordering go to tinyurl.com. Questions about the program can be asked in the online form.

Donations for seedlings, which are appreciated but not necessary, will support community food security efforts.

Bags of compost will also available for sale.  See the order form for details.
