Camden Hills graduation, baccalaureate events announced

Camden Hills Regional High School has announced a full list of 2020 graduation events, which will culminate June 12 in a vehicular Baccalaureate parade, to which the community is invited.

May 29: Last day of classes for seniors

June 4, 5 p.m.:  Fine Arts Night will showcase student visual and performing arts with a virtual presentation. A link will be posted on the Camden Hills website.

June 8 to 11: Senior Memories Day Photo Messages. Senior photos will be posted outdoors along the track fence, for family, friends and community members to leave a written message for the graduates.

June 8 to 9: Senior Diploma Presentation All Day, Strom Auditorium. This ceremony is open to seniors and their immediate family only. Seniors and their parents will meet on the auditorium stage and parents will present the student’s diploma. The ceremony will be videotaped and become part of the graduation presentation on June 12.

June 9 at 6 p.m.: Virtual slide show: Senior Voices and Parent-Student speeches. Links and the program will be posted on the school website. This presentation may be viewed at any time after 6 p.m.

June 11 at 6 p.m.: Awards night presentation of scholarships and awards, hosted by Angela Carlsen and Jeremy Marks. Links will be posted the school website.

June 12 at 4 p.m. Graduation. Virtual links and program to be posted on school website.

June 12 at 7 p.m. Senior Parade. Camden/Rockport Seniors will gather at Knox Mill parking lot in Camden in vehicles at 6:30 p.m. The parade led by local police and proceed from Main Street in Camden and Union Street in Rockport to end at the Routes 1 and 90 intersection. Spectators may park along the route and must remain in their vehicles.

Each day 10 graduating seniors are featured on the Camden Hills Facebook page.
