Camden Hills graduate awarded scholarship

Jun 24, 2020
Camden Hills Regional High School graduate, Anthony Benson, was awarded a scholarship from The MES Foundation.

Alfred — The MES Foundation has awarded a $5,000 renewable scholarship to Camden Hills Regional High School graduate, Anthony Benson. Benson was one of 10 Maine graduates to receive the award. The Richard H. Pierce Memorial Scholarship was established in honor of MES founder, Dick Pierce, who passed away in 2011.

“We hope to lessen the financial stress placed on our Maine students and their families, while they pursue a postsecondary education,” said MES Foundation Executive Director Kristie Hurlburt. “We are thrilled to invest in the future of these exemplary students as they enter the next chapter of their lives.”

MES will accept on-line scholarship applications beginning Jan. 1, through April 1, 2021 for the 2021/2022 academic year at mesfoundation.org.
