CAMDEN — The Camden Farmers’ Market, 116 Washington St., will kick off its 2018 season on Saturday May 12, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This will be the second year at its new location at the old tannery site, offering plenty of parking, room for over 30 vendors, and even a stroll along the river.

Camden Farmers’ Market has been operating since 1974 and offers a variety of produce growers as well as locally made breads, cheeses, fresh mushrooms, seafood, flowers and starts, tofu, chicken and meat, as well as select crafts. The Uproot Pie company offers breakfast bialy and pizza.

New vendors this summer include Dulse & Rugosa out of Gott’s Island providing seaweed skin care products. Also joining is Cassie Choplick with homemade ‘Get Sticky’ popsicles using locally grown fruit and veggies.
