Camden engineering firm adds new staff

Camden — Gartley & Dorsky Engineering & Surveying, Inc. of Camden and Damariscotta have announced the addition of three new professionals to their growing engineering team: Stephen G. Mischissin, P.E., Senior Mechanical Engineer; Paul Curtis, P.E., Structural Project Engineer and Alyssa Gartley, E.I., Civil Design Engineer.

Mischissin earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University and brings over 38 years of experience in mechanical engineering and project management. His expertise is in HVAC design, infrastructure design, district energy systems, energy management and building operation and maintenance. He is also a U.S. Green Building Council LEED Accredited Professional. Mischissin works in the Camden office of Gartley & Dorsky and lives in Camden with his wife, Ann.

Curtis graduated from Rockland District Regional High School in 2005 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Maine in 2009 graduating Magna Cum Laude. Paul went on to obtain an Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Maine with focuses in Structural and Geotechnical Engineering and was a graduate research assistant at the Advanced Structures and Composites Center. Curtis, who will work at the Camden office, relocated to mid-cost Maine with his wife Laura who is an attorney at Strout & Payson, P.A. and their young daughter.

Gartley graduated from Erskine Academy in 2013 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at the University of Maine in 2017. Alyssa interned at Gartley & Dorsky in the summer of 2016 and joined the Camden office full-time in April 2018 after completing her engineering degree.
