Business Association meeting to include brainstorming April 24

Apr 15, 2019

Waldoboro — In addition to rotating the meeting locations, the Waldoboro Business Association Board has also decided to share responsibility for running the meetings. It is exploring different meeting formats.

The newest WBA Board member, Sarah McNeil, will lead the next meeting April 24 at 6 p.m. at Odd Alewives Farm Brewery, 99 Old Route One, and she plans to limit the duration to one hour. During the first half of the meeting, there will be time for attendees to complete the WBA's survey on how it can better serve Waldoboro-area businesses and for special announcements from association members. Those who have already completed the survey will be encouraged to use that first half-hour to socialize and enjoy on-the-house offerings of Odd Alewives brews.

During the second half-hour, McNeil will organize participants into small groups to brainstorm several of the topics that have thus far emerged from survey responses. The WBA Board will present the final survey results at a future meeting after tabulating all the information from surveys submitted prior to and during the April meeting. It is the association's goal to collect as much survey information as possible.
