Waldoboro — The Waldoboro Business Association has donated $250 to the Flags For Waldoboro project, a collaboration between the town, citizens and businesses to line the village area and Route 1 with American flags mounted on CMP poles. In time for Memorial Day, Jefferson Street and Route 220 / Main Street into the Village area have been completed. The flags have been installed with the aid of the Waldoboro Fire Department.

For those interested in donating to this project, a $50 donation purchases a flag, pole and mounting bracket. All checks should be made out to the Lions Club / FFW, PO Box V, Waldoboro, ME 04572.
