Camden — After seven years as a leading agent with Jaret & Cohn Real Estate, Charles “Chuck” Brawn has joined The New England Real Estate Company.

Brawn was the number one top producing salesperson in his previous company for Jaret & Cohn in 2011 and was the exclusive listing agent for the Camden Condominium project called the Knox Mill Condominiums in downtown Camden.

“Our entire team is very excited in Chuck’s decision to join our company. Chuck is another homegrown talent for The New England Real Estate Company. After being an integral part of French & Brawn for many years, Chuck, also with his experience in restaurant service, has proven himself an exceptional real estate agent. We are pleased and proud to welcome Chuck to our company,” said A. Flint Decker, president, designated broker of The New England Real Estate Company, in a news release.

“I am especially excited to be joining Flint Decker and the team at 2 Bay View Street. The New England Real Estate Company has a philosophy of attention to the customer — something that is equally important to me. The customer is always right and buying or selling, I’m very excited to represent my clients working with a company that’s core belief is always to put their customers and clients first,” said Brawn.

Brawn will also be the co-listing agent for The Homes At Ducktrap Retreat along with Decker. This project, a new 18-home condominium community, is being represented exclusively through The New England Real Estate Company and will be introduced to the community April 24.

Brawn spent his teen years working at French & Brawn as well as on a lobster boat out of South Thomaston. After attending the American University of Paris and graduating with a bachelor's degree in international business administration, he returned to Camden, and began working at French & Brawn in 1992, and was general manager from 1995 through 2006.

He was also the owner of SonnyG’s Italian Restaurant at 31 Elm St. in Camden from 1999 until 2007. Then, looking for a career change, Brawn decided to try real estate, joining Jaret & Cohn in 2006. Meanwhile, he has also been busy raising a family of three children and spends any spare time coaching youth sports.

Look for Brawn as the head coach of Elm Street Grille Minor League Softball Team this season as daughter Jozi will be playing. Otherwise, Brawn can be reached at 236-7000, or 1-888-236-7015, ext. 19 or his cell directly at 975-5139 or by email, Chuck@TheNewEnglandReCo.com.
